We've created this 'Getting Started' guide to help you set up your lease portfolio. The first decision you should make is how to set up your corporate structure; We've built Cradle to cater to multinational corporate structures with hundreds of subsidiaries or a single entity.

These are your first steps when using Cradle.

  1. Create Parent Company(ies)

When signing up, the first step is to create a parent company. Once you've created the parent entity, you'll then land on the companies page:

Before adding companies to that specific Parent entity, you may want to set multiple Parent entities; for 99% of our customers, 1 Parent entity is adequate.

If you have multiple users within the Parent, the next step is to set up your users.

2. Create Users (Total time: 5 minutes)

Once you select "Add User," you can then control the access level of those added to the software. The choices are:

  • Super Admin User - Full admin access to entire organization.

  • Company Admin User - Full access except payment details.

  • Regular User - Full access except adding/changing/deleting permissions and payment details.

  • Read-Only User - Full read-only access.

  • Auditor - Full read-only access.

  • You can select user's access to specific companies.

3. Create Companies  (Total time: 5 minutes)

Once you've added your users, you're then ready to add the companies within the Parent.

Once set up, you can run reports at either the company or consolidated level.

4. Add Agreements

Now you're ready to enter your lease data! We've created a separate document for an in-depth rundown on the onboarding of lease agreements here
