The custom reports combined with custom fields and templates allow you to compare and contrast any data within Cradle.
For example, let's say your organization manages and reports on the leased assets based on a branch number. Some assets share the same branch number while others don't.
Given in Cradle financial reports such the Income Statement only allows filters to be via:
Asset Class
Company
Agreement
That's because these reports are to capture the financial information for a set of compliant financial information.
So how do you look up the Income Statement accounts expenditure via branch number?
That's where custom reporting comes in. First, you need to capture the branch number related to each lease. The easier way to do this is via setting up a template:
From there, you would apply this template to add to each agreement in the custom fields:
Once added, you can run your custom report including "Branch Number":
Run the custom report, which now includes branch number and income statement accounts:
