Setting up email reminders in Cradle: Never miss an important event

Overview

  • Reminders is a feature in Cradle that allows you to set up email notifications for upcoming events, ensuring you never miss important dates.


How To Set Up A Reminder

Alternatively, you can follow the steps below:

Step 1: click Reminders on the sidebar

Step 2: Then click + New Reminder (top right of the screen) and a model window will open

You can either set an email reminder for specific agreements or Company/Asset Classes. Points to note:

  • If you have a specific agreement that you want to be notified regarding a payment, you would then select Agreements(s)

  • If you would like to set company-wide reminders, e.g., be notified of all renewals, you would select Companies/Asset Classes.

Step 3: select the event you want the email reminder for

In the above example, the user will receive an email for all Renewal Reviews four weeks before the event.

Hint: You can also add multiple reminders for the same event:

Items to note:

  • Each user must set up their own reminders

  • You cannot see another user's reminders

  • To add an Event, go to the underlying agreement. More on that here: How Events Work

  • Can Read-Only Users set up reminders? Yes, all users—including those with Read-Only access—can set up reminders.
