How to lock agreement and company data

Cradle's locking functionality allows you to ensure there's no unexpected changes to your data.

In Cradle you have to the ability to lock sections at the agreement and company level to prevent any further changes.

At the agreement level

To lock data at the agreement level, navigate to the applicable agreement and click Settings and refer to agreement locks:

At the company level

Navigate to the applicable company and click Settings and refer to locks:

When the specific section of the company or agreement has been locked, there is no ability to make any changes. The only way will be to navigate back to the settings and unlock that applicable area.

At the agreement level

Lock initial recognition

Lock custom fields

Lock modifications

Lock custom events

Lock agreement GL codes

Lock uploading attachments

Lock agreement delete

Lock non-lease payments

Lock calculation settings

Lock deleting attachments

Lock agreement deposits

Lock deleting attachments

This allows you to lock an agreement after you have reviewed the inputs to ensure there are no future changes.

At the company level

Company locks:

Lock company settings

Lock company delete

Lock company GL codes

Lock new agreement creation

Agreement locks:

Lock company settings

Lock company GL codes

Lock company delete

Lock new agreement creation

Lock all agreements' initial recognitions

Lock all agreements' modifications

Lock all agreements' custom fields

Lock all agreements' settings

Lock all agreements' events

Lock all agreements' non-lease payments

Lock all agreements' GL codes

Lock all agreements' delete

Lock all agreements' archive

Lock all agreements' uploading attachments

Lock all agreements' deleting attachments

Lock all agreements' deposits

Setting locks at the company level allows you to quickly lock data to all agreements at once.
