Fill Out All Mandatory Fields, Including Company ID and Asset Class ID, to Upload Leases to Cradle.

Overview

  • You can use the bulk upload template to upload multiple leases at once.

  • We recommend using the bulk upload template if lease information—such as commencement date, accounting end date, and discount rate—is readily available from another system. This allows you to transfer the information easily. Otherwise, we recommend entering the leases directly into Cradle.

  • This article primarily focuses on how to complete the Company ID and Asset Class ID columns.

Alternatively, you can read through the instruction below:

Step 1: Open the bulk upload template Excel file. Select the tab for your desired accounting standard and role

Step 2: Fill in all the mandatory fields with asterisk (*) and also

  1. make sure there is no empty row between each agreement entry ,and

  2. For multiple incentives, fixed increases, one off payments etc., enter each in a new row.

How to find Company ID?

  • First, ensure that the company you're importing the agreement to has been created in Cradle. For instructions on creating a company, please refer to Step 1 in this help article. Once created, you'll find the Company ID in the Companies View.

How to Find Asset Class ID?

  • When onboarding a new agreement, you need to create a new asset class. For instructions on adding a new asset class, please refer to this help article. Once the asset class is created, click "Manage Asset Class." You'll find the Asset ID listed under the Asset Class Title.

Step 3: Click ‘Bulk Upload’ in the sidebar, then click ‘+ Bulk Upload’

Step 4: Drag and drop the bulk upload Excel file, ensuring all settings align with your desired upload configuration. Then, click ‘Upload & Process’


FAQ:

When should I use the bulk upload template? Use the bulk upload template when agreement data is readily available in another system and can be easily exported to populate the template. This method is most efficient for transferring existing data in bulk.
